... and here we are... bathroom shower tile work still on hold...

1000hrs, get back from the recreation center, walk around to the
passenger side of the car to open the door for Sharon and...
and...
and... HOLY KRAP!!!...
the bedroom/office flooring dudes dumped the dried stuff from their
thinset/grout buckets in the decorative rocks under the rose bushes...
and...
wonder why they didn't just dump the stuff in my living room???

Well, haven't mentioned this to Capital Flooring and Design yet,
probably not worth mentioning... when I told them about the other
problems with the tile flooring installation I was told 1) the
installers should have used drop cloths, and, 2) with a project
like this you can expect there to be some accompanying damage...
WHAT???... there was no mention of any accompanying damage
before the project was started (or we would have found a different
installer), and, when Capital Flooring and Design's installers
installed the flooring in the living room there was NO DAMAGE (and
no need for drop cloths as it was just inside the front door)...

so... another lesson learned:
- ask how any colateral damage will be handled before signing...

DON'T LET IT BE SAID THAT KEVIN OF CUSTOM DESIGN OF CALIFORNIA IS
NOT CUSTOMER ORIENTED!!!

called Kevin about noon'ish and asked what happened to the toilet
install that we expected on Monday... he thought it was to happen
later then recalled our discussion and yes, Monday WAS the day...
"Will be there today around five'ish with toilet to install"...

1730hrs, Kevin installs new toilet!!!...

... w/slow close seat and lid...
