Hwy 1... ... to Nick's Hideaway in Pacifica where we stop... ... put the top down, eat lunch and watch waves... ... then cruise, top down, south on Hwy 1 along the coast to Santa Cruz... ... then Hwy 9 north to Boulder Creek... put the top up and unpack... ... then continue north on Hwy 9 to... ... ... the Opening reception at Garrod Farm and Cooper Garrod Winery with snippets from Gross Gems Productions, memorabilia from our past, and an emotional 25 minute movie taking you through "Memory Lane" of our high school years. In tradition with other elite golf courses around the world, at sunset we will feature the haunting and emotional sounds of Irish bagpipes from the balcony at Boulder Ridge. Shortly following the bagpipes was a stand-up comedy act in the main banquet room. There were thousands of delicious hors d'oeuvres throughout the night. Everything was complimentary including food, beer, wine, and cocktails. Watch for the left turn on Sanborn Road just past Saratoga Springs Resort (right turn BEFORE Saratoga Springs if coming from Boulder Creek) and continue for one mile. Bring a small dish if you are able, and your own BBQ item. However, there will be plenty of beverages and items to snack on if you happen to be on the run. We will have music, plates, condiments, flatware, and some extra beverages.
